This is due to botanist David Bellamy praise on variety of plant and animal life. It is an ambitious project since the staff intends to present it worldwide. The project, which is expected to be finished, next year, has been started by the UN World Tourism Organisation. Verona Woodhouse, who co-manages the park with her husband Mike declared: "As well as the natural environment, our park guests also contribute to the sustainable nature of this business.

A recent report on the situation of the wildlife in the park recognised more than 80 species of birds. Among them, 10 were listed by RSPB as endangered species (for instance, the spotted flycatcher and the black grouse.
The study also revealed that the park was home of more than 60 species of wild flowers. Among those there are also common flowers and lesser known species.
